From About The Artist: "The only time I’ve every willingly gotten out of bed before sunrise was the summer before my senior year in high school. I had joined the drill team and practices began at 6am. We stretched as the sun cast amber light in the sky. We moved in unison across the wet grass and played the music loud. We laughed, worked hard, shared gossip and rolled our sleeves up so as not to get a farmer’s tan. It was a brilliant summer and I wanted to capture the feeling of those mornings here. If you gave me the chance I’d happily get up tomorrow at 5am and go."
