Yellowstone
Tones:Â Sky Blue, Charcoal, Sand, Warm White, Ecru
About The Print: An abstract painted from acrylics on wood panel with a muted palette of blues and tans. Featuring a cloud filled blue sky that stretches out over forested mountains.
From The Artist: "It’s hard to beat Yellowstone’s beauty. My parents recently took a trip there and the unfiltered pictures came pouring in.
C.S. Lewis said: “We do not want merely to see beauty ... We want something else which can hardly be put into words — to be united with the beauty we see, to pass into it, to receive it into ourselves, to bathe in it, to become part of it.”
That’s how I felt about Yellowstone. I immediately wanted to capture it. To be be part of it any way I could be. So I painted it."
